  • What types of payment do you accept?

    Monthly payments can be made via Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Equipment purchases can be made by credit card or wire transfer.

  • Is there an annual contract or service agreement?

    No. You can your service at anytime. In fact, you can upgrade or downgrade your service at anytime. Options are available in your PBX control panel.

  • Do I have to purchase VoIP phones to use MyOffice PBX?

    No. You can bring your own VoIP phone or purchase one of ours. Many of our features and services can be used with your existing non-VoIP phones.

  • Can I upgrade or downgrade my account at any time?

    Yes! Add or remove services as your business demands change. Use our online Control Panel to make changes to add or remove services in real-time.

  • Can I purchase phones from MyOffice PBX?

    Yes.  We sell most phones from most of the top VoIP hardware vendors such as Polycom, Cisco, Yealink, Grandstream, and many others. You can purchase phone before or after you sign up for services. To view our phones, visit our VoIP phones page.  If you don't see the phone you are looking for, give us a call.  It's likely that we can get it for you.

  • Can I transfer my existing phone number to MyOffice PBX?

    When you transfer phone services to MyOffice PBX, you won't have to leave your old number behind. You can bring your phone number to us using a process called local number portability.

  • What type of Internet do I need?

    MyOffice PBX will work with most broadband internet services (Cable, DSL, T1, WiFi etc...).

    In order to ensure the highest level of voice quality, we recommend that an additional 90 Kbps of internet bandwidth (per active call) be allocated above your current data consumption.  

    Here is an online broadband speed test to assist you in determining your actual data speeds.

  • Does MyOffice PBX support emergency 911 calls?

    Yes, emergency 911 calls over VoIP devices are managed through e911 procedures. Emergency 911 calls over standard phone lines are handled by the phone carrier for those phone lines. Details of our e911 coverage can be found here.
